Celebrate a century of impact with 100 Years of Unbound: The Power of Aging, a special exhibit commemorating the Hannan Center’s 100th Anniversary. This landmark exhibition brings together rare artifacts, photographs, and art that trace Hannan’s journey from its founding in 1925 to its present role as a leading voice in redefining aging across metro Detroit.

Through stories of dignity, creativity, and connection, the exhibit highlights Hannan’s lasting influence—enriching the lives of older adults, strengthening communities, and showing how aging is a source of wisdom and strength.

The exhibit officially opens on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with a reception from 1–5 PM featuring remarks from Vincent Tilford, President & CEO of the Hannan Center, alongside board members, staff, and community leaders.

Admission:

  • Adults: $15
  • Seniors, students, active military, first responders, educators (with valid ID): $12
  • Children (ages 6–12): $8
  • Children under 6 and Detroit Historical Society members: Free
  • Family Discount: Families of five or more receive $1 off each ticket
