Celebrating our 100 year anniversary in 2025, Hannan Center continues to support older adults through social services and creative aging/wellness opportunities.
Our mission remains constant: to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life of older adults 55+ in Michigan.
Hannan Center programming includes the Zena Baum Senior Service Center, Beyond U – Creative Aging Workshops & Classes, the Ellen Kayrod Art Gallery and Gift Shop, as well as Daybreak – An Adult Day Program for Older Adults Living with Dementia and Support for Those Caring for Them.

The Ellen Kayrod Art Gallery and Gift Shop is open weekdays Monday – Friday from 10am – 3pm.
Free parking available behind our building.
BEYOND U
Beyond U facilitates creative aging classes and workshops providing social interaction, personal enrichment, and intellectual growth. to participants. Beyond U subscribes to the philosophy learning is not limited by age, rather it is a lifelong endeavor limited only by one’s imagination! Some classes and workshops offered are the Fine and Performing Arts, finance, technology, creative writing and culturally-based wellness + more!
