Elder Law and Advocacy Center has partnered with Hannan Center to provide free legal services for Wayne County older adults (60+) on the second Tuesday of every month at the Hannan Center. Reservation is required by June 9th 2023. Please contact Melissa Draughn at [email protected] to sign up.

Join us for a workshop on Alzheimer's Disease where we learn more about the relationship between Dementia and Alzheimer's disease as well as how it impacts the LGBTQ+ community. A compulsive gambler dies in a fight, is sent tp purgatory where he learns that will be given a chance at redemption see that he may enter heaven. All black cast including: Ethel Walters, Lena Horne and Eddie Anderson. Suggested donation of $8.00. Refreshments will be available.

Participants will create African warrior shields from East, West, and South Africa. Materials will be supplied. This is a cross-generational workshop. Bring a child, grandchild, great niece/nephew. Cost for adults: $20.00. Cost for each child: $10.00 (two child maximum). Cash, check or money order.
