Join InsideOut Literary Arts for a 6 session Intro to Poetry and Performance workshop. The sessions will be facilitated by one of our professional Writers-in-Residence from our Citywide Poets program. Sessions will be designed to engage both first-time and experienced writers. Participants will explore a variety of poetic tools and strategies for exploring our memories and experiences through the act of writing creatively. The program will culminate in a performance of work by the Hannan participants. Limit: 10 participants.
Participants can register day of workshop. Please bring composition book and writing utensils. Workshop dates: 6/15, 6/22, 6/29 , 7/13, 7/20, 7/27
