Hannan House was built as a residence for older adults in 1971. Twenty-two years later, the building underwent a major transformation and today functions as a multi-agency nonprofit office center. Here, older adults living in the Detroit Metropolitan area find a variety of services provided by Hannan Center and its partner agencies.

The Senior Service Center is located on the third floor of Hannan Center. In February 2007, the center was named in honor of Zena Baum, a Trustee of the Hannan Foundation for more than 30 years. Services include:
