This eight-week co-educational workshop\, led by facilitators Ms. Jessica Ridgeway and Pat Baldwin\, aims to address critical issues of linguistic racism\, cultural diversity\, and community engagement. Through readings\, discussions\, and hands-on projects\, participants will delve into the rich tapestry of language\, exploring the historical\, cultural\, political\, and racial dimensions of Black Language and its impact on marginalized communities. This course empowers students to become active citizens within their communities\, working to dismantle anti-Black linguistic racism and racial hierarchies.
